Below are the standard rates for counseling and coaching services.
Fee Schedule for Counseling, Coaching, and Consultation sessions as of 8/1/2023
I am credentialed with Aetna, BCBS PPO and Cigna insurance. Otherwise for self pay rates please review below.
Standard rates for self pay clients. (Sliding scale is not currently available.)
15 minute session: $40
30 minute session: $80
40 minute session: $110
55 minute session: $150
(Each additional 15 minute unit beyond the first hour: $37.50)
(Due to need for transition time between sessions, all sessions beyond 30 minutes typically end 5 minutes early to give a 5 minute cushion between sessions.)
Fee schedule converted for CPT codes use to submit session claims for clients using insurance.
Note that for insurance companies that Andrew Ross or staff are in network with, the fee will be adjusted automatically by the insurance company to the contracted rate and client will only be charged whatever their insurance plan and benefits indicate. (For example, if your plan indicates a $25 copay per psychotherapy session with no deductible, then $25 is all you will be required to pay. If your plan has a $1,000 deductible you will be charged the rate of the CPT code used for your session below until the deductible is met after which your benefits will kick in and you will only pay what your benefits indicate such as a copay or percentage of the contracted rate. )
For insurance companies that we are not in network with, but you want to submit claims for out of network reimbursement, you will be charged according to the following CPT code rates and you are able to submit these for insurance reimbursement directly from your insurance company with a superbill (glorified receipt) from Andrew Ross or Restoration Care and Counseling PLLC.
90832 (16-37 minute psychotherapy session): $80 (typically 30 minutes)
90834 (38-52 minute psychotherapy session): $110 (typically 45 minutes)
90837 (53-60 minute psychotherapy session): $150 (typically 55 minutes)
90791 (55-60 minute intake session): $175
Family therapy codes are billed at the 90837 minute rate and are typically done as 55 minute sessions.
CPT codes for unusual emergency sessions may be billed at 20% higher rate than the above standard session codes.
